Advanced Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Consequence Modeling

Overview: Estimating the potential damage caused by industrial incidents requires high precision. Arya Imen Tadbir employs advanced tools such as SAFETI, PHAST RISK, and 3D Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software like FLACS to model the consequences of explosions, fires, and toxic releases. These studies calculate individual and societal risks (F-N curves) to protect human and financial capital.

Key Technical Experiences & Projects:

  • Petrochemical Hubs: Conducted comprehensive QRA and consequence modeling for credible accident scenarios at Shiraz (Urea, Ammonia, and Ammonium Nitrate units), Bandar Imam, Borzuyeh, Mobin, and Jam Petrochemical complexes.

  • Gas Transmission Pipelines (IGTC): Provided QRA consultancy for major high-pressure pipelines, including the 40-inch First National Gas Transmission Pipeline (Rasht-Astara section) and the 30-inch Noor-Kelardasht pipeline.

  • Offshore Platforms: Executed consequence modeling and risk analysis studies for offshore platforms in the Kharg, Bahregan, and Siri regions for the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC).

  • Advanced CFD Explosion Analysis: Performed dynamic analysis of blast-resistant structures and explosion modeling using FLACS software at Pars Petrochemical, Sadaf Petrochemical, Padjam Petrochemical, and the 6th Refinery
